PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Are you tired of cheap paper towels that tear inside the gun's action and leave microscopic, flammable lint in the chamber? MILSPEC specialized lint-free cleaning wipe is the professional standard for daily maintenance of firearms and airguns. Designed to remove the toughest industrial dirt, grease, and baked-on carbon, it offers extreme tear resistance and a certified dust-free structure.
Certified dust-free according to standard PN-82/P-55072
In the gunsmithing industry, the cleanliness of mechanisms determines safety and reliability. MILSPEC cleaning wipe meets the rigorous criteria of the Polish standard PN-82/P-55072, which is official confirmation of its complete dust-free nature.
When wiping components, the material does not fray, does not shed dust, and does not leave any micro-fibers on the metal surface. This is a key feature when:
-
Cleaning and degreasing delicate trigger groups,
-
Servicing precise long air rifles (PCP, spring-powered) and rimfire firearms (.22 LR),
-
Wiping the surfaces of shooting optics – collimator lenses, rifle scopes, and thermal imaging coatings.
Advanced polyester-cellulose composite
The extraordinary performance properties of the cleaning wipe were achieved through the use of a hybrid material structure. The combination of polyester with cellulose in optimal proportions resulted in a product with a dual action:
-
Extreme absorbency (Cellulose): Quickly absorbs liquid solvents, strong copper removers, carbon foams, and thick preservation oils, binding them deep within the sheet's structure.
-
Exceptional mechanical durability (Polyester): Gives the cleaning wipe resistance to tearing and fraying, even when heavily saturated with aggressive gunsmithing chemicals.
You can safely insert rolled sheets into hard-to-reach places, such as bolt lugs, magazine wells, bolt carrier guides in AR15/AK carbines, or sharp edges of locking chambers – the material will not break.
Optimal dimensions for versatile applications
A single, precisely cut sheet of MILSPEC cleaning wipe measures 20 × 30 cm. Such a surface guarantees excellent working ergonomics. One sheet is sufficient for a full wipe of a bolt carrier or pistol frame.
It can also be successfully cut into smaller fragments (so-called patches / wads) and used on gunsmithing jags for final dry wiping of the barrel bore.
