Armored body made of hardened carbon steel
Unlike standard, factory polymer magazines, Mec-Gar features a construction made of durable, hardened carbon steel. This ensures maximum resistance to mechanical deformation, cracks caused by dropping on concrete during dynamic reloads (e.g., in IPSC, IDPA), and guarantees perfect retention of the magazine's feed lip geometry for years of intensive use.
Advanced Anti-Friction Coating
The magazine body is covered with a specialized, smooth anti-friction coating. This technology drastically minimizes resistance inside the magazine, ensuring perfectly smooth ammunition movement and eliminating the risk of fail-to-feed jams. Additionally, this coating facilitates the rapid "dropping" of the magazine from the pistol's well after pressing the release button, which allows for saving valuable fractions of a second during reloads on the shooting range.
Increased 18RD capacity and excellent visibility
