Magpul Military Polymer – Lightness and Impact Resistance
Unlike heavy metal sights, the Magpul MBUS sight is made from the famous, reinforced polymer composite. This material is characterized by extreme resistance to impact, cracks, and deformation. It possesses a unique "shape memory" property – in the event of a strong side impact, the polymer will flexibly flex and return to its original position, whereas ordinary aluminum sights might be permanently bent. Weighing only 36g, the MBUS minimally burdens the front of the carbine, maintaining perfect weapon balance.
Ambidextrous Spring Mechanism and Full Ergonomics
At the heart of the device is a reliable, spring-assisted snap mechanism. Activating the sight is extremely intuitive – it can be instantly unfolded by pressing the large button on the top or using the side wings (tabs).
