One Product, Two Operating Modes: Open and Closed
A unique feature of AXIL XP Defender protectors is the dual attenuation system, which allows users to adjust the acoustic profile to their current needs:

Open Mode: Reduces dangerous, sudden sound impulses (e.g., gunshots), while allowing partial access of safe ambient sounds. Ideal for maintaining situational awareness and clear communication on the shooting range.

Closed Mode: Provides maximum, continuous silence and blocks sound waves. This is an excellent choice for extreme, constant noise conditions, such as working with heavy equipment or at airports.
Ergonomics, Durability, and Double-Protection
XP Defender earplugs are made of lightweight, hypoallergenic, and extremely durable polymers, ensuring resistance to long-term wear and sweat. Their well-thought-out, ergonomic shape with anatomical flanges perfectly adapts to the ear canal, and the integrated, protruding handle allows for quick and safe insertion and removal of the insert.
Tactical Tip: The earplugs feature a very low profile. This allows them to be used in conjunction with protective earmuffs (active or passive), creating a double protective barrier (so-called double-plugging) when shooting large caliber weapons in enclosed spaces.
