Green fiber optic – Lightning-fast reaction time
A key element of the AmeriGlo GFT-125 set is the advanced front sight equipped with a bright, green fiber optic. A specially selected polymer collects even the smallest amounts of ambient light, concentrating it into a bright, clear dot at the end of the barrel. Green is the color most easily and quickly registered by the human eye, which drastically facilitates locating the front sight immediately after dynamically drawing the weapon from the holster.
Black, matte rear sight for maximum focus
To achieve ideal contrast, AmeriGlo engineers combined the bright front sight with a smooth, matte-black rear sight. The absence of any dots, lines, or reflections on the rear sight's profile eliminates the effect of visual clutter. The shooter's eye automatically focuses on the glowing front sight in a fraction of a second, ensuring a clear, non-fatiguing sight picture – ideal for quickly transitioning fire from target to target.
