The SHOTWORKS sports funnel (magwell) for the Springfield Prodigy pistol is an advanced ergonomic upgrade that drastically widens the factory grip well. Designed specifically for the unique geometry of the Prodigy's polymer grip, it is a key piece of equipment for any pistol that is breaking popularity records in the DS 1911 class.

The SHOTWORKS magwell acts as a wide, profiled guide for double-stack magazines. It significantly increases the room for maneuver during reloading, so that even with quick movement on the range, the magazine almost self-centers in the well. This design minimizes the risk of snagging on the grip edge, allowing for smooth and intuitive changes without taking your eyes off the target. It is an indispensable tool in IPSC (e.g., Standard), IDPA (depending on weight variant), 3-Gun divisions, and in demanding tactical and defensive shooting.

To meet the needs of sport and tactical shooters, we offer the funnel in two advanced technological variants:

ABS (Black Color): This material is fully resistant to UV radiation, varying weather conditions, and gun oils and chemicals, while offering optimal durability for everyday use. ABS highlights imperfections in 3D printing but is easily workable.

PA6 - Nylon (Gray Color): This uncompromising variant is designed for the toughest tasks. PA6 polyamide offers several times higher resistance to cracks, mechanical impacts (e.g., when aggressively seating magazines with aluminum basepads), and extreme temperatures. Due to the technical characteristics of the fiber, the surface of this variant has a unique, noticeably rough texture with an industrial feel.
Trouble-free, quick installation
The magwell design is based on a perfect fit for the factory polymer grip of the Springfield Armory Prodigy pistol (both for the 4.25" and 5" barrel versions). Installation is simple, safe for the weapon, and does not require gunsmith intervention or the use of specialized gunsmithing tools. The magwell securely locks onto the grip, eliminating play and guaranteeing a firm hand rest, which further improves recoil control of the pistol.
