PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Looking for a way to shorten trigger reset and eliminate perceptible creep before the break in your pistol? The Disconnector for 1911 / 2011 platforms from the renowned performance parts manufacturer Eemann Tech® is a professional internal component of the trigger mechanism. It has been designed with uncompromising reliability in dynamic shooting in mind, where precision and fractions of a second determine victory.
The key to perfect and safe trigger reset
The disconnector in John Browning's iconic 1911/2011 architecture is responsible for a crucial aspect of safety and mechanics – disconnecting the trigger bar from the hammer after each shot and controlling the return of the trigger. The Eemann Tech performance disconnector has been manufactured with rigorous gunsmithing tolerances. This drastically reduces internal friction, eliminates "creeping" (trigger creep), and allows for a short, extremely crisp reset necessary for fast double taps.
CNC gunsmithing precision and Premium durability
The Eemann Tech component is made from a monolithic piece of high-grade steel using precision CNC machines, and then undergoes advanced heat treatment. The appropriately selected surface hardness prevents premature wear of the disconnector head at the point of contact with the cutout in the slide and the lower foot of the trigger bar. The smooth, almost mirror-like finish of the functional surfaces guarantees that the mechanism operates smoothly from the first installation.
Wide compatibility – Ideal upgrade for IPSC and IDPA
The Eemann Tech disconnector is fully compatible with most classic 1911 (Single Stack) pistols and modern, double-stack 2011 sport pistols (from manufacturers such as STI/Staccato, Bul Armory, Rock Island Armory, SPS, or Springfield). It is a fundamental tuning element chosen by gunsmiths and shooters building or modifying their firearms for IPSC Classic, Standard, or Open divisions.
