Advanced protection against micro-cracks in the frame and slide
During intense sport shooting (especially with ammunition with a higher Power Factor in the Major class or standard 9x19mm factory ammunition), the pistol slide hits the rear of the frame ramp with enormous force. Over time, these repeated impacts can lead to invisible micro-cracks in the metal structure.
The Eemann Tech polyurethane buffer acts as a dedicated energy absorber (shock buffer). It takes on peak dynamic loads in the final phase of the slide's backward movement, drastically reducing material fatigue and protecting critical structural elements of the 1911 / 2011 platform.

High-Density Polyurethane – Resistance to gunsmithing chemicals
Eemann Tech buffers are made from specially developed High-Density Polyurethane. This material is characterized by excellent shape memory and extraordinary mechanical resistance to compression and shear. Additionally, this material is 100% inert to aggressive gunsmithing solvents, oils, carbon removers, and strong preservatives. The lifespan of a single buffer is approximately 1000 shots (depending on the stiffness of the recoil spring used and the powder charge in the ammunition).
Non-invasive Drop-In installation in seconds
Installation of the buffer is incredibly simple and requires no tools or firearm modifications. The buffer simply slides onto the recoil spring guide rod between the base of the rod and the rear of the slide. The part fits perfectly with standard and full-length guide rods in single- and double-stack pistols.
Gunsmith's Tip: Regularly check the technical condition of the buffer when cleaning your firearm after training. When you notice significant indentation or fraying of the polyurethane edges, replace it with a new one from the kit to maintain continuous maximum protection for your pistol.
