Enclosed Design – Absolute Emitter Protection
Unlike classic open-emitter red dot sights, the Holosun HE509T-RD X2 features a fully enclosed optical system. The LED diode is isolated and secured inside a hermetic capsule. This means that rain, snow, mud, dust, or dirt have no way of obscuring the emitter and blocking the reticle. This is a crucial feature for service weapons (Duty) and EDC/CCW systems, where split-second reliability determines safety.
Titanium Armor Resistant to Overloads up to 5000 G
The body of the X2 series red dot sight is milled from pure titanium. This material offers extraordinary mechanical strength while maintaining an extremely low weight (only 63 g). The titanium construction is completely resistant to impacts, drops, and extreme vertical overloads of up to 5000 G, which occur during operation on nine-millimeter and more powerful pistol slides. The IP67 ingress protection rating guarantees trouble-free operation after complete submersion in water.
Multiple Reticle System (MRS) – 3 Reticles in One Diode

Dual Power with Solar Panel and Shake Awake™ System
The red dot sight uses hybrid technology. The built-in solar panel (Solar Failsafe) serves a dual role: it automatically adjusts the dot's brightness to ambient light intensity and powers the device in automatic mode, allowing the sight to operate even with a completely discharged CR1632 battery.
Meanwhile, the advanced Shake Awake™ motion sensor puts the diode to sleep during inactivity and wakes it up to the last remembered settings with the slightest weapon movement, allowing for an impressive operating time of up to 50,000 hours on a single battery.
Upgraded X2 Series with Button Lock
The X2 version introduces ergonomically redesigned, flat side buttons that facilitate manual operation even with tactical gloves.
