Legendary Magpul Polymer – Uncompromising Lightness and Durability
The Magpul MBUS rear sight is entirely made of advanced, reinforced polymer composite. This material is characterized by unique flexibility and mechanical "shape memory." Unlike rigid aluminum sights, the polymer MBUS can absorb strong side impacts or drops of the weapon on concrete, returning to its original geometry without the risk of permanent bending or cracking. Weighing just 36 g, the sight does not burden the carbine's receiver.
Instant Spring-Loaded Flip-Up Mechanism
Switching to mechanical sights in a critical situation takes a fraction of a second. The sight is equipped with a reliable, spring-assisted snap mechanism. Ergonomic, ambidextrous levers and a large button on the top allow for intuitive and instantaneous deployment of the sight with one hand – even with thick tactical gloves. When folded, the housing locks at a height of just 12.8 mm, creating a streamlined, ultra-low-profile shape that won't snag on gear or clothing.
Two Sighting Apertures and Precise Horizontal Adjustment

Universal MIL-SPEC Mounting
The design maintains the standard AR sight height (Mil-Spec Height), ensuring full compatibility with factory front sights and optics in an Absolute Co-Witness or Lower 1/3 Co-Witness configuration. Mounting on a standard MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny / STANAG 4694 rail is done with a single screw, using a classic hex key or flathead screwdriver.
