Are you looking for a legal and safe way to increase the capacity of your magazines without drastically increasing the size of your weapon? The FTCS +3 extended magazine baseplate is a high-performance accessory designed for Glock 17 and Glock 45 pistols in 9×19 mm caliber. Made from aircraft-grade aluminum and finished with a durable Cerakote® coating, it allows for an immediate expansion of a standard magazine from 17 to up to 20 rounds.
Maximum firepower – Gain an advantage of +3 rounds on the range
In dynamic shooting (such as IPSC, 3-Gun, or PCSL), every second counts for the result on the range, and an additional reload forced by lack of ammunition can ruin chances for a podium finish. The FTCS baseplate adds 3 additional rounds, allowing for optimal planning of the course and minimizing the need to change magazines during shooting sequences. Additionally, the precisely milled interior of the baseplate creates optimal conditions for proper spring compression, eliminating the phenomenon of the follower blocking when fully loaded.
Aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminum and Cerakote® Graphite Black armor coating
Unlike cheap plastic alternatives, the FTCS baseplate was cut on advanced CNC machines from a monolithic block of ultralight and extremely durable 7075-T6 aluminum. This alloy exhibits mechanical stress resistance comparable to structural steel, while maintaining a featherlight weight (only 26 g).
The surface has been protected with the original, baked ceramic coating Cerakote® in Graphite Black (H-146). It provides:
-
Exceptional resistance to scratches and dents during dynamic magazine drops onto concrete or gravel,
-
Complete imperviousness to sweat, moisture, cleaning chemicals, and solvents,
-
A matte, professional finish perfectly consistent with the aesthetics of Glock pistols.
Wide compatibility and hassle-free Drop-In installation
The FTCS baseplate design ensures an excellent fit not only for original, factory Glock OEM magazines (generations 3, 4, and 5), but also for popular magazines from other manufacturers with identical geometry (e.g., ETS).
Accessory installation is completely non-invasive and intuitive – it involves sliding off the factory plastic baseplate and lock and replacing it with the aluminum component. The entire operation takes several dozen seconds and does not require the use of specialized gunsmithing tools or any permanent modifications to the magazine's structure.
